NEW SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN CHALLENGES NATIONAL CITY RESIDENTS TO SHOW THEIR CIVIC PRIDE

The National City Tourism Marketing District (NCTMD) welcomes residents and visitors to show their civic pride in National City by participating in the new #MEETNATIONALCITY campaign.

The public is invited to share pictures of their favorite restaurants, neighborhoods, and places to visit in National City on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using the hashtag #MEETNATIONALCTIY.  The TMD will share the best from among the pictures posted by local residents and visitors through its own official social profiles.

“The residents of National City are proud of where they come from and the wonderful city that they live in”, said Jacqueline Reynoso, CEO of the National City Chamber of Commerce. “This new initiative will allow the public to share their favorite places and things to do in their own city through social media channels.”

“The NCTMD is proud to support the #MEETNATIONALCITY campaign,” said Dukie Valderrama, board member of the NCTMD.  “A greater sense of community pride will make our neighborhoods better, attract more visitors, and increase spending in the local economy.”
